directly each headlight motor (beneath the front bumper) you'll find a rubber slip-on cover that reveals a **** you can turn manually. Remember to pull the headlight fuse in the engine bay otherwise when you turn the ignition on, they'll reset themselves

Thanks for the help RTRY!

Would that still allow for both half and full opening?

Each headlight has to be done individually so you'll have to eyeball them lol
It takes a few minutes to do each cause of how slow the **** turns the motor

Hahahaha, I used to do this on my FC. "Sleepy Eyes"
I haven't driven it since I lost my license in 2008 for drifting, but just yesterday began working to get her back on the road! This is actually my second RX7club account. I didn't like my old username, and don't remember which email I used. (Sorry for the pointless post... I'm trying to get this account to 5 posts so that I can look at parts for sell!)

You can just use a 6 volt golf cart battery instead of 12 volt battery.

its called the sleepy eyes mod.. lots of 240sx owners use this as well. its just a relay that shuts them off halfway.states on kit 4 offroad use only because it WILL affect your light pattern

Even with the relay, you would have to wire it with two separate circuits. One for half-way and the other for full-up. That would take some complex wiring.

Sleepy eyes? I'm not understanding this, why would you only want your headlights to come up half way.. looks??

there's a less invasive way of doing it with the headlight pop switch on miatas and 240s with just one wire ... gotta experiment or look further into it .

Guys, flame away but I like the 'Ricer' look and happen to think the 'Sleepy eyes' mod looks pretty hot.
