injectors not working please help!!!!!

okay i have had this problem for a while and done everything i can.i was just driving along then the engine had no power nor would it run. i found that the injectors were not working. found out that they are not working by pulling upper fuel rail off and haveing a friend crank the car. i held injectors out of intake and didn't see them squirting then i pulled them out of fuelrail and lots of fuel pressure. so i know the pump is okay. the only ground i knew to check was the one under the intake mani and tightened it up. i have done all i can do and am very frustrated. love this car to much to sell it. please please help. need this car going so i can get a job again. this is my daily driver so is crucial i get running. thanks for reading and have a great day.

just read through a trouble chart for injectors not firing. It will tell you exactly what to check and in what order.

Maybe the injectors are clogged up and aren't opening.

You can test your injectors with a 9V battery, and like already mentioned they may just be dirty, or you could have a bad wire in the harness if applying direct voltage with the battery makes them spray.

The upper fuel rail holds the secondary fuel injectors which will not fire unless under load so simply reving the engine will not equate to being under load. To create load while the car is sitting still in the driveway requires unplugging the vacuum hose to the Boost/Pressure sensor, capping the unplugged hose and disconnecting the TPS plug. This will allow the secondary injectors to fire when the rpm reaches the 3800 rpm threshold while the car is standing still.

You need to test the primary injectors, located on the center iron, under the upper intake. The secondary injectors you looked at don't fire at light loads.
