Hey guys, my name is Michael. I don't actually own and rx7 anymore. I owned an '87 Turbo II for around 8 years. There were some legal mishaps that kind of forced me to sell it. So anyways....
I have a new project that I am building. I have an '85 Corolla hatch that I'm doing an almost complete rebuild on.
At the moment it has a back seat and if you've ever seen one of those in person, you will understand when I say that it should be only a 2-seater. The car is six inches narrower than a Honda Prelude 0.o. So the one thing that I really miss besides the sound of my rotary is the bins behind the seat. And that's what I need info on.
I have a buddy that sold his fc as well, but he had the bins left over. I got those from him, but he didn't have the frame it sits in. So I was wondering if any of you might have one of them you would be willing to sell or might be able to give me the dimensions of one so that I could just make it myself. Either way would be perfectly fine and much appreciated. No one has ever done a rear seat delete with the Mazda bins and I think it would be a nice touch to the build. I've never been a guy to just gut a car. If there's a way to make it look like it was factory, I'm all for it.
