Only when the clutch is engaged. When you push the clutch pedal in, the noise goes away. Does this sound like a throw out bearing?

Looks like it was the input shaft of the tranny. Replaced the clutch slave, clutch master, and tranny while I was at it. Now the car feels/shifts amazing once again!

Yes, if the noise goes away with the clutch pedal pressed down, it generally means it's the front main bearing on the transmission. I had an NA transmission with this issue, and it was fixed with a rebuild. Good to hear you've settled it.

Yea, the TO bearing, clutch slave, and clutch master did not fix the issue. That was frustrating trying to sort it out. Fortunately had a friend locally that had a rebuilt tranny laying around he sold for cheap. That solved the issue finally!
