Cool hesitation at 6500+rpm

Occasionally my car will hesitate at around 6500rpm. Its not everytime but once in a while right before i shift it will just hesitate. And then goes back to normal. I replaced the secondary injectors awhile back cuz i was having a 3800rpm hesitation and that was fixed. So after driving with that hesitation for so long before the fix i still sometimes feel like its gonna do it again(which it never does). and now that it just happened at those high rpms ive gotten worried it may be something worse. I noticed that on the manifold in front of the frontmost injector there is what looks like fuel on the manifold. I have a 88 N/A non-turbo(oh how i cant wait for my swap)with around 97k.

If you're seeing a fuel leak by the primaries, it's probably the pulsation damper (PD). After 20+ years, these can fail and burn your car to the ground. Other causes can be old fuel lines or worn out/pinched injector o-rings.

A random hesitation around 6500 RPM could be a poor connection on a secondary fuel injector.

It could be the TPS, too. At least check to see if it's adjusted right and within the specifications. I've hit a wall at ~6500 RPM before because the TPS wasn't working right.
