HI all, hope this is the right place to get help!

Ok im looking at buying an RX7 and looking at cars ive seen (very few and far between) on the road i want a gen3. i know absolutly nothing about rotory engines and have heard bad things which is putting me off and thinking i should keep my gtfour, but should give the oppertunity to hear peoples opinions who live and breath these cars,
so heres the thing thereare only about 70 listed RX7 in britain to buy and very far apart so if i went to see a car what sort of thing should i be looking out for (common problems, big problem signs) and questions needed to be asked, so if somebody could give a few pointers on visual things, noises, cold and hot engine look fors etc, it would be greatly appreciated.
