Heart Transplant - First Time
Well, my baby, a 1987 non-turbo, if finally dead, and needs a heart transplant, for which I have 2 major questions.
1. I am so far leaning heavily toward an atkinsrotary rebuilt engine with some porting done, and I'd like to know how good of an idea this is, and how reliable they are known to be.
2. I have a decent amount of mechanical experience from being a light wheel mechanic in the army, but bulky military diesels and rx7's often have little in common, so any input on what to look out for from those with more experience would be extremely appreciated.
Thanks for any and all input!

1) Atkins is a very good rebuilder, no problems there, and the seals haven't given me any problems, I only use them in my customer engines and also my own.
2)Is is easyer to pull the wiring harness thru the firewall instead of pulling it off the motor while it is in the car. That is about it, very, very, simple
