KY H3 foglights

There is a link for 1300cc.com in several posts here to show how to make an H3 foglight work in the RX7. That link is now dead thanks to a site re-do. Does anyone have a write-up or video they can post showing me how to do this?

The fog lights actually take an H3C bulb--NOT an H3!

All of the websites (Amazon, TireRack, Headlights.com, etc.) and even one place on the boards here misstate that the bulb is an H3. It isn't. An H3C works, but is only available in Halogen. At least that was all I could find.

If anyone has found a way to convert the fogs to something else, I'd love to hear about it too.

Yeah, I was aware it was a different bulb but couldn't find one locally. I had already purchased some H3's and was hoping to make them work. When I couldn't, I went to amazon and grabbed some H3C for pretty cheap. The plug is too long and the base of the bulb is round, not square so I had to bend the pin a little to hold them in. For the length I just wrapped the back piece in gorilla tape to lock out moisture and left the black clips off. They are working, for now...
