Well After it being in the shop for 2 weeks and now I can finally drive the damn thing. I noticed that the car grinds 5th(i knew this already) but stays at 3k rpms and does not go faster than 80mph.
Also Noticed the smell of coolant. The Firestone guy said he topped it off butnothing more than a cup went in.
Next.... My shifter.... and my ebrake are hot. I can feel heat coming thru the sleeve and the metal is warm to the touch.
Next.... Gas guage. Cool I knew I would use about 1/8th of a tank to go 40 miles ( that was my mariner ) but this think almost dropped to 1/2 a tank. I started at 3/4ths and while driving i seen it almsot at 1/4 ... but once I stopped it was at 1/2...
THEN lol I get home and noticed the window would almost get stuck at the half way mark coming up and I went to pull my charger out of the lighter thingy... and it yanked all the way out......
Cliffs
1. Fifth gear wont go above 3k rpms and 80mph (4th will )
2. Smell of coolant.
3. Shifter/Ebrake Hot
4. Screwy Gas guage
5. Window motor going out.....
6. Cig lighter thingy popped out and disconnected.
OOOOO and it wants to die at idle but has about a 12.3 on the meter when it does that but the RPMS are around 0?

THe issues have been there since I bought the car. I jsut was never able to drive it with a broken leg. It went in for brakes.
Its an 90 n/a if that helps

Same here i hope it all works out for ya,iff ya not happy with there work or they have caused this take it back to them,dont pay them nothing.
Sound like ya need a auto elec to tidy some things up for ya.

The smell off colant is probery a loos radiator hose leaking clamp.
Ya cig lighter is proberly a blown fuse cheek ya fuses could be a couple off ya probelms.
5 gear problem could be a fuel issue why it want rev harder or clog fuel filter.
And ya window motor proberly needs some lube to fix that.

Either clogged cats or a stuck injector. In fact the injector would produce similar symptoms.

Pop lighter back in, replace if clips broken.
