Fuel Surge Tank?

so i have a 1990 gtu with a tii swap. I dont have a fuel surge tank? will this cause flooding when the engine is hot?

You don't need a surge tank.

Hot start problems are common, and stem from a very rich start map on the stock ECUs. Other problems that can make it worse include dirty/leaky injectors and low engine compression.
