First gen clutch pressure problem.

First gen clutch pressure problem.
What's up everyone. So about a week ago I noticed my clutch pedal sometimes sticking in the down position so I figured I'd look into it next week when I had more money. But then 2 nights ago I noticed it get significantly worse and then last night I found I had no pressure at all and I basically had to force it into gear with the clutch down. It seemed like a cylinder issue so today I went out and bought a new master and slave. I put them on and filled my reservoir, and began bleeding the line. While pumping the pedal I realized that it wasn't getting any stiffer, but I could hear air pockets escaping. I figured I was just trippin and kept going til I didn't hear any more air pockets. Then I closed the bleeder, pumped it some more, bled it one more time and started it. Still no pressure. In fact its worse now than it was before. Wth happened? I had all of the symptoms for bad cylinders, did everything exactly how I was supposed to, and I still don't have any pressure in my pedal and it just grinds when I try to put it into gear. I need a little guidance from someone who knows more about these cars.

If there is no fluid in the master then something has caused it to expel the Fluid. This would be a leak.
You would most likely have to check that by putting some fluid in and seeing where the leak is,but Honestly,if you replace One part, then the other is bound to fail right afterwards.
A Good rule of thumb on these 20 year old plus cars is to replace all the Clutch hydraulics. The master, flex hose and slave are reasonably priced and can be purchased for about 120 Bucks Tops.
..
above was an answer I had ready for another clutch related problem.
Did you bench bleed the system before installing it,to get fluid into the components?good idea.
If you got new stuff and installed it you have to have TWO people.
FILL the system up.One person pump the **** out and hold the pedal down while the other one Operates the bleeder. When the pedal goes down HOLD IT and then Crack the bleeder,Bleed it then close bleeder.Repeat.It may take about 6 tries but it should work the air out.
Keep an eye on you master fluid level.
