Start by reading as much as you can in both the 2nd and 3rd gen sub-forums, search for somone who has successfully completed the swap, read up their install, and download the FSMs from the link in my sig line.

Hey whats up racecar11... I am working on that same project with a 13BREW in my 87FC TII right now. There are several ways to go about it. What I found to work the best is a complete swap by getting a front clip.
I was able to source engine mount adapters for the motor it's self. I used the FD ecu, wire harness, you are able to use the FD IC, but you may want to go FMIC, stock FD radiator is up to you but it will take some work to make it fit so you may want to opp out for after market. FD oil cooler twin turbos etc. For the most it will seat right up but you will need a custom drive shaft no way around that. You can use the FD down pipe or an after market but you will need a custom mid pipe to connect to your FC exhaust system... There are right ups on the net to look out for or if you have a question I may be able to help you out. So far we have not hit any snags but were also not finished lol. Whats your progress so far?

brand newbie here
So I've done allot of researching and I am still pretty lost. I recently bought an 87 fc. Its definitely a project car. Guy I bought it from started it, and stripped it down to the chassis. Never went any where after that. I am wanting to seal the stock motor out with the 13bre or 13btt. If it's possible can I get a list or a link to a rebuild to see what all I would need. Would be greatly appreciated.
