FC Info

so i posted in the newb intro forum already bout how i am looking into possibly gettin a FC but i dont know much about them which is why i joined this forum. im lookin to find out what i can about them so i know whether its worth gettin into or not.

what are the different versions of the FC RX7?
what do i need to know about them?
goods?
bads?
would a 1990 rx7 GXL be an upgrade over my stock 1990 nissan 240sx coupe?

The car you're looking at looks pretty good, but there are no engine pictures. It'd be nice to know the condition of the motor. It's also a non-turbo car for $3k; you can probably find a stock TII (turbo model) for around that price.

iv searched craigslist n seen no turbos for that price.
you sure?

so far, that FC is the best i can find.
n im tryin to get the best bang for my buck.
considering my limits bout 2k, im guessin about what i might get for my coupe (cars great inside and out, 40k on newish engine, only issue is right rocker is rusted to ****).
i can mangle 3k but probably just barely n ill probably regret it in the end but i learn from experience. my best n probably only option is to talk it down.

so i asked the owner about the "tuning" it needed and he said the crank angle sensor is what needs to be adjusted.

whats that?

"wing" is ugly.
looks nice tho, but still 3k for a non turbo? not sure thats worth it... i have an 87 Turbo up for sale for 3k.

i have yet to come across a turbo for under 5k on craigs list.
