FC 88 TII 4th gear 6-7K rpm hesitation

The car was running smoothly from 1 to 3rd gear on high rpm but when I shift to 4th, the engine hesitated around 6500rpm. any ideas?

How much boost are you running? Mods? As suggested above, it sounds like it may be overboost fuel cut.

I thought boost cut and hesitation feels completely different? Or am I wrong? I've been having the same problem, but mine occurs during 3rd gear also. I'm running 720/550 on a hybrid turbo with a rtek 1.7(I think). I initially thought it was boost cut also, because I bought the rtek without opening it, and checking if the chip was actually inside. But I was told boost cut and hesitation feels completely different. So I've rules that possibility out. Or have I been told wrong?
