Cup holders

So really stupid question here. I was at pick and pull with a friend and he found out that ford Taurus cup holders fit in his mk2 Gti.
I was wondering if anyone else has come along something similar to that as I don't have them and it get pretty annoying when I make a Tim Hortons run and have to shift with one hand and drive while holding a coffee in the other.
I have a 86' FC RX-7.

Careful of that coffee! I'll just stop and drink it when I get somewhere!

i've been thinking about moving my mirror switch and security light (gxl) and fiberglassing a single cup holder in. if i ever get the motivation to do so, i'll post a write up.
