Coolant level sensor leaking.

So I have an 88 fc NA and my coolant level sensor in the radiator leaks under pressure. I have tried tightening it but it doesnt feel like it has any threads to tighten against, or they're stripped. I don't know much about this sensor and i'm wondering if i need a new rad, or sensor, or if its an easy fix..Thanks guys.

Remove the sensor and see if the threads on it or the radiator are stripped. The sensor is also supposed to have a rubber gasket to seal it. Replacements are cheap from an auto parts store. The wire tends to break with heat and age anyway.
