Confused as hell!!!!

Here is a quote from a man im inquiring to about his rx-7 and purchasing it.

"when you engage the clutch it's rough on the rear diff. and i can't figure it out"

anyone know what this means because it doesn't make any sense to me, the engine isn't engaged to the drive-line so why would it be rough...right?

Perhaps he doesn't know how to drive stick well and he's creating wheel hop?

Ask him what he means.

A common failure on 2nd gens is the front diff mount, which will cause a banging when the clutch is engaged or disengaged. But since you didn't mention what year of RX-7 you are looking at, we can only guess.

1988, yea i didn't get it either, how does he know weather its "rough" on the drive-line?
