i read on the 2nd gen tech section that there is suspose to be around 4" of play at the end of the clutch fork. mine has no play, im pretty sure this is causing my clutch slip. Can i adjust it or something. thanks in advance

4" of play???
This may be true if the transmission is out of the car, but if the transmission is in the engine then there will be zero play.
If you clutch is slipping then it could be a number of things, worn out clutch (if old), improperly installed clutch (if new), or you installed a low quality clutch.

Ok i wasn't sure, i thought it was prob just worn out but i had weird hydro problems like last week and shortly after that is when it started. over the summer the pedal stuck down and it would hardly go in and out of gear and i got out of the traffic i was in and then it was fine again and it wasnt until one night last week it felt like it needed to be bled, but i didnt have anyone to help me so i was kinda out of luck. the next morning i went out and started the car and the clutch stuck almost to the floor but if i pushed it went down just enough to shift and stop at lights. so i drove it cause i had no choice cause my high school really doesnt like me or my car anyway and i couldnt not go. on the way there i added some fluid to the reservoir and it still did the same thing. later more was added and while i was pumping to bleed it it started to build pressure and it was then fine but after like 3 days it started slipping and it never slipped in lower gears before that, so i think that there may be something more going on than just a worn clutch

This stuck clutch pedal just happened to me.

This sounds like a whole lot but I really don't understand the extent of the repairs that are needed. Can someone tell me what I am in for?

Get a clutch Master cylinder and Slave cylinder(ebay or Napa.whatever, just Don't go to the dealer, unless you carry Vaseline in your Backpack!).,and the proper clutch hydraulic hose(get a hold of fc3s91 I believe his name is Robert..he has Stainless steel braided lines for about 20 somethin Bucks.).
Take the master off the "hard steel ine",take slave cylinder off the Transmission.(each is 2 12mm bolts.)
Put the Parts back on the car.Fill the master with fluid.
then with the slave bleeder screw cracked open, let it Bled/drip fluid itself.(get a rag,put it by the slave Bleeder screw)
.then Pump it a couple times.
Now,Close the system up and get a buddy to pump the Clutch. While he has his foot DOWN and holding, crack the Bleeder.Squirt!..then Close..Repeat about 3-4 times.Make sure you don't let the master EMPTY itself or you have to start over..and Fill the master after you have completed bleeding the system and the clutch Feels adequate.
You are now DONE.
all together in parts you are looking at Roughly 130 bucks.(and that figure is high.)
get those parts on.That eliminates the Old 20 year old Hydraulic Parts. If it turns out to be something else, then Think of what you did as Preventive Maintenance.
By the way, some people will just replace either the Slave or the master.,.No sense in doing Just ONE part,as the other will Give out with the Better hydraulic pressure that the New part is going to create.
Cheers and Have fun..STYX.
