can you turbo a 12A?

Hello names Denton, I have a 83 rx7 gsl and I'm looking to get a turbo so I can get more HP. Its a stock 12A with a 48ida Webber carb. (Bought it like that) can you boost a stock 12A? Or what will I need to be able to turbo it? What kind/size of turbo is good for my first turbo on a car? I am running mix fuel do to the omp pump being took off cause the carb (bought it like that), can y'all give me advice on what I can do to get these rear tires spinning? Lol. Any reply s will help ! Thanks - Denton

BUT, it was never released in the US Market, Japan got it only.

If you go into the 1st gen section and read ALL threads from the member Jeff20b, he is pretty close to a god when it comes to the 12a, and make it a blast stock, and turbo, with the stock OEM carb
