Building the engine
Hey guys,
I got enough money to buy a fds. It's gonna cost me 5k. Only catch is that its auto. Heres my plan. I wanna save up for a real 13b rew engine and transmission. Drive the car while I have my builder build the engine and tranny to my specs, and then it's all done I'll do the swap and add all the suspension parts to it as well. Let me know what you guys think.

thats all good and all...but whats a fake rew engine?
heres the main problem with your idea...your going to need a lot more then 5k for the car...and not because your doing the swap..thats relatively cheap so long as you know what your doing
but because things are going to break on you especially if the cars in 5k shape
and btw your going to need a manual drive shaft..and ecu
