TN Blinking Headlight

When turned on my left headlight blinks(rotates open/closed) about 15 times before stopping in the open position. The right side works correctly. Any ideas on the cause and fix???

could just be a loose wire going form the power source to the light, or the headlight motor. Look at the power connections if you have the book for the car or if your just familiar with the system. If you cant find the loose wire maybe the motor for the headlamp pop up has an internal problem, in that case unless your electrically inclined i would buy a new motor or you can go to junk yards and find the parts for cheap (but its a gamble). If you are good with electrical and if possible you could take the motor apart and inspect the internal wiring to make sure the contacts are not worn out or lose. (im an electrician lol) if you still have problems after trying these just let us know and we can go from there.

if the problem persists after you change the motor out i would get the wiring diagram and trace all of the wires in the headlight circuit to make sure everything is wired to the proper posts on all the components..........it is VERY VERY time consuming. If the wiring is all original you should have no problem with the color coding.......if it has been replaced before and not to the original specs its going to be a lot harder and will take a lot of patience lol and headaches.

I found this article somewhat similar to your issues. it says if the headlight motor is replaced and you still have the problems....your control module may be bad. if you wanna read here it is...it is on a camaro website lol
