Beating a Z06 Corvette

Hey guys,
i searced the forum about any threads related with fd VS vette subjects but I didn't find anything. So, my question is really simple and obvious. What mods are required on a stock fd to beat a Z06 vette?? Thanks 4 the answers fellows.

Serious mods....high boost, lots more fuel, porting, standalone etc ect....too much to list.
Stock for stock theres no keeping up with even a C5 Z06 except maybe a very tight autox course.
The only other exceptions are "fun factor", exclusivity and looks. No modding needed for those.

I'd say outhandle. What I mean is rolling at the highway with normal speed and then wot(borrowed from the abbreviation list)! If that's called "outhandle", yes I mean that. As you may have noticed, English is not my native language and I'm not familiar with such terms in English but I do my best Anyway guys, I'm dreamin of an FD that its standalone ECU literally changes its face. Pre-installed setups for show-off drift, outhandling the Z06 and limited fuel consumption when driving in the city. I donno if you guys caught my way of thinkin. The stock spoiler seems OK to me and a diffuser is essential, new suspension, the list is long, I know but damn, I've got the fever!!

Yeah I know bro that this smells like a lot of money too. Stock VS stock is an epic fail. Stock fd is a sin!! :P:P We are talking about a c6 z06. "a very tight autox course" What do you mean by that?

Cool! That's what I'm talkin about man! Is there any video? Is there any link on this forum about how does the procedure of the porting improve the performance of our beloved wankels?

To be realistic: $10,000 - $15,000 USD to accomplish what you want. Some may feel that is high buy I'm factoring in the shipping costs to Greece and assuming you cannot fab or do any of the work on your own for a worst case scenario.

Yeah it's about 10 grand. There are some really nice tuning houses about rotaries here in Greece. JDM-R is the best I think. Keeping the temps low is really a challenge I think. I study computer science in Greece and I'd really love to learn how to program an ECU. I don't have any hand-work experience but I can easily work with screwdrivers and some other basic tools. I think I lack knowledge and experience. If had these qualities I'd definately do some fabrication on my own. But still I think the porting process should not be done in Greece... :/

If you contact IRP in NJ or Banzai Racing both of them would probably ship a ported engine to you.

Really interesting and funny I'd say thread!!! The title of the thread was about how many HP is needed to kill c6 z. So, my question is what mods are required to outhandle that car? I know the list is big, but let's start building it... I'm really excited about it!!!

Easiest way to beat a z06 is to just do a ls7 swap

When it comes to looks it is already game over. But enough power to beat its weight ratio would actually send you far above it.
