axles...interchangeable?

I started a new thread. As far as axles and stub axles go, are they interchangeable between turbo amd non turbo models? I've been told different thing from other friends and would like to know for sure.

What's the difference? I bought a manual and it shows that its a little longer but is that all? Or does it something to do with any joining or connecting parts?
