i'm was thinking of swapping mine out for an s5 alternator, well that was before i talked to someone else on here. I know his name, but not his s/n, that's besides the point. He suggested i used a 130 amp alternator off a Ford Taurus. I'm not sure what alterations (wiring or under-the-hood fab) i would need to do this, so if anyone has any ideas they'd be appreciated.

No problem glad to help.
Just took me a quick search to find that thread.
Here is a little trick that can get you all kinds of information from this site: Go to google, go to advanced search and towards the bottom where it says "Search within a site or domain:" just put in www.rx7club.com. Search for whatever and it will only show results from rx7club. It is a lot easier to do it this way than to use the search function on rx7club.com. My opinion anyways.
