94 fd bone stock engine light on? Please advise

Thanks guys not sure why my first post was not complete the car has 24,500 miles on it it's still running perfect all fluids are up and clean the car has not been used I put 200 miles on it in the past two days temps and pressures were good
However just now I got into it just a bit and took it to like 6000 Rpms still well below redline it was great power but when I was sitting in driveway idling cooling down the yellow check engine light
I's now on no over heat and still running smooth and good pressure.... Any help would be great ....
And can i still drive it... Thank you

if the engine light came on you should be able to pull codes.

Any Mazda dealership will be able to order you stock parts. But be prepared to pay a LOT of money. Check out the FAQ for 3rd gens. Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda is known for giving the best prices through a dealership for our cars. I'd suggest checking out the classifieds on this forum though. A lot of people pull their radios and wipers for one reason or another and parts come up often.

CEL's can appear to be transient, but be stored and/or come back after a while. I posted a link in your other thread on how to pull them. You really need to get a Factory Service Manual (or download a copy from the 3rd Gen. Stickys) when you can.

Have you done anything to it? Changed the plugs and wires etc? Do you know the service history of the car etc?

It's was a one owner and the car did sit quite a bit the owner was a older guy In his 60s
And all he did was a few recalls i see the campaign stickers in the hood and oil and filter changes not sure if fuel filter was changed But I plan on a service at Pettit as soon as I can get it up there it's like a 75 mile trip doesn't seem like there are any techs down this way (ft lauderdale) I did change the air filter today spent the extra bucks on the k&n the fits in the stock intake box.
I also plan on a oil change ,coolant is up and looks good I have been putting easy miles on the car and have also based on this forum have put a few ounces of hi quality synthetic two stroke oil in the fuel.. Just wondering if this needs to be done all the time?? Thank you for your help...

Coolant turns acidic with age and electrolysis happens without being visually apparent. That can be hard on coolant seals. I would change coolant. Get the FSM. there's a drain plug on the center iron left (driver's) side of block as well as the radiator drain. Search for how to burp the system here and in the 3rd Gen. section.
