Hi, I hope this is the right section to post it, I've registered here for a while but never posted anything or checked out this place. I bought an 86 RX7 NA two years back, and since I was a naive stupid kid, I haven't touched it or anything in theese two years. I also never prepped the car for winter, and since I live in Calgary, AB, the winters are really harsh. Good news is that its in a spare garage.

Anyways, I want to start working on it, just to get it running first. I was wondering what sorta things should I be checking? I know my clutch is COMPLETELY worn out, and I ALSO found a nice big pool of brake fluid under the car. So any checks I need to do on the road is kinda not doable right now. And since I left the car without running it these last 2 years, should I just take out the entire engine and see if it needs a rebuilding?

Sorry for the mess I just typed, I know its a lot to read, but if someone here could help me, that'd be MUCH appreciated!

yeah, this helped me out quite a bit too. im so confident about the rx7 im ready to make any repairs regardless of what it takes.
