Cool 86 6 port 13B into 85 GSL (NOT GSLSE).

1st gen FAQ only shows swap into gslse which originally came with a 13B. I am trying to put a 86 6 port 13b into my originally 12a equipped 85 gsl.

Please Correct Me if I am wrong on any of this but this should make it fit:
I am using the 1985 12a trans but the 13B clutch and pressure plate, Water pump housing from my 12a, The front cover from my 12a, a pan from a GSLSE, or i really think i could cut the sump out of a 12a and weld it onto the stock 13b pan ( OR REALLY JUST fab up my own pan). Notched front engine brace. I am also just gonna weld my own 2" primary headers with a flange from RB.

I am also running:
A DLIDFIS setup from a 12a, Blocked off OMP, Holley 600 carb with custom fabbed intake (If i find a cheap substitute i might do that)

Thanks for any suggestions guys.

Yep, sounds right to me.

2nd gen NA clutch stuff is the same as 12A 1st gen so you are good to go.
