CO 85 GSL-SE Stalling

Problem: Engine stalls when decelerating. Tachometer will drop to 500 and engine will die. Happens when downshifting to a stop or in neutral if I rev the engine and then let go of the gas pedal.

It will start up and idle. The engine shakes like there is a miss but it will run. It only shuts off when I'm decelerating.

At Idle I can turn on the A/C and the engine will not shut off although the RPMs will decrease slightly. When I shut the A/C off though the RPMs will drop to 500 and SLOWLY increase back up to around 900. This takes approximately 1 minute to go back up to around 900.

I was reading about the MAF and it's being said that it should close gradually and not slam shut. So I go in there and start playing with the door on the MAF. It certainly shuts as soon as I let it go. I open up the throttle and let it go and I can hear the door on the MAF slamming shut.

(Here so you get a laugh. I had the key in the ignition in the ON position so I keep hearing this spraying when I'm playing with the door. Guess what happened? I flooded the hell out of if after just changing the oil. I went through the unflood procedures and got it started this morning.)

I have been all over this site and have done a few checks that have been recommended.

I've Checked the TPS with two multimeters and adjusted it properly.

I checked and cleaned the spark pugs. The car came with Autolite 2526. I called FRAM and verified that these are the correct plugs.

Replaced the oil and oil filter with Castrol GTX and a K&N oil filter

Replaced the fuel filter with a WIX universal Fuel filter.

Removed the air filter for now while I'm diagnosing.

I sprayed starting fluid all over the hoses I could find and there was no change in RPM although when I spray the air box (where the air filter sits) the engine RPMs decrease.

If I pinch the hose coming off of the BACV the RPS also decrease.

Everything is stock on the vehicle.

This is what I have gents I know this topic has been beat to death in some forums but I'm not seeing any clear diagnosis procedures.
