1988 rx7 always buzzing and wanting anti freeze
ive bought this rx7 fc for 700 and for the pass two months ive been driving it as my daily driver, tuned up, brand new battery and new radiator cap with a stock engine cap. no leaks perfectly fine but every two weeks it would want more anti freeze. so i thought i should change the radiator cap. since i change the radiator cap, every two days it would want more anti freeze! and the buzzing is annoying! So i decided to burp or air out the radiator. the temp. was regular. randomly the coolant exploded. i dont know if im going crazy because im new to these types of engines or if i have a broken coolant vaule....hopefully not. please help me out.

When mine went, it didn't really smoke much. But I have to top it up EVERY TIME I start the car.

Burp the coolant system. http://mazdarx7.iougs.com/cooling.shtml
Does it sound like you have a babbling brook behind your dashboard?
I got my first rx-7 for 700 bucks too.

thats weird because it sounds like u have a bad coolant seal there for need a rebuild but when my first seven blew a coolant seal it smoked something fierce so if urs isnt smoking thats weird.Maybe u have a tiny little coolant leak from a line or something and just cant see it.

It's on an early stage of the bad coolant seal which you may not notice that much smoke. try Alumaseal, dump 2 little bottles in the car. If it won't solve the problem, you know what that means

I'm having a similar issue. Warning light keeps coming on, have not had any smoke, coolant level is above the full mark and hasn't dropped noticeably in weeks and I just replaced the coolant level sensor. Bad wire possibly (hoping)?
