Big thanks to all who participated in the meet although it was not as big as the NYRA meet. The turnout was more than I expected. We even had a small car clinic there. Chiquirx7 fixed Brandon’s power window (see pics). Luckily that fix was under 10 minutes. Chiquirx7 has a 10 minute rule, if its over 10 min he charges, if he gets dirty he charges double, and if his rotary shirt gets dirty, he brings out his credit card terminal and you better be ready to swipe your card.
As for the cars, FB’s dominated. It was nice to see allot of FB’s. John's FB was looking really nice. I want my engine bay to look like that. Old school rotaries came next. An original Rx-2 and I mean original. Everything on the car was bone stock, twin distributor, top mount starter, wheels, the list goes on. The second Rx-2 was a beautiful unfinished restoration. He still has a lot to go, but man he is on the right track. By the way both Rx-2s have an almost identical color. We had an Rx-3 that is also under construction and I really appreciated that car being there. I’m an Rx-3 fanatic and it sounded really nice too, hmm, can we say streetport. Last but certainly not least an FD with stock twins and a nice Turbo II. No Rx-8’s, dam we forgot to tell them about the meet, doh!
Jason you missed out

But looks like a good turnout. YOu guys should keep up with the meets i see many similarities.
We started NYRA in oct 2005. THen took off in summer off 2006.
Our first meet had 7 cars lol and our biggest meet has 69 cars. But out of those we gotta give props to the guys from CT that made it out to help us with our count and the ppl from NJ.

Cya at bear moutain.
Hit me up if ya got any questions

if you guys continue holding CT meets you guys can set something off and be big. I really would love to see that. If you guys need any help im sure JOhn will help out, hes been dying to see the CT peeps blow up. HEs been coming to all the NY meets since we began holding them in Oct 2005 before NYRA was even official.
Look at john (second person, from right to left) at the first NYRA meet , as can be seen in RXTUner
Written by me and im not even in the friggin picture lol
Who knows maybe you guys can set something up like CTRA =), we can discuss it during the NYRA meet at bear mountain
So from what im seeing JOhn, CHiqui and 2wankel seem to be the most active that can start a club and maintain it. It takes a bit of hard work at first but its worth it. The rotary community is not like any other automotive community, so we will always help out our fellow rotary brothers and sistas.
Lets party :smiley_12
