the meet we have every Friday at Starbux....see title of this thread
By etiquette we mean;
No burnouts, no doing donuts, no speeding through the parking lot, no fighting, no blasting music, no leaving garbage behind.
Basically ricer like behavior will not be tolerated.
We encourage discussion of vehicle improvement, restoration, trackday stories, and learning a littltle something about other makes and models.

rawr, ended up rebuilding my heater box instead. all fixed now but dash is held in by steering column!!!
One question . . . .
Why is a part of the cooling system so freakishly hard to get to in all cars?
I had to take the dash out to remove ONE bolt. Needless to say that bolt was replaced by industrial velcro.
O and i found other issues that need addressing while i have everything apart. like why i became soaked after going through a mud puddle with my console removed? 20 y/o rubber doesnt act so rubbery anymore.

The plastic in the FC's is terrible, just count on it breaking.
Take a look at Saavedro88's FC next time get a chance and you'll see what I had to do to get the instrument cluster surround to stay on when it was my car.
I will say thoug if you need to put a small hole through the dash don't drill it out - use a nail held by a pair of vice grips and a propane torch to heat the nail to cherry red.
It goes through like butter and leave a neat clean hole, it is a stinky process though.
