Hey, JR. You guys put together a nice get together! I have to say your old school turn outs are real nice. P.S. I like to see what the rotary community is doing, let me know if you guys want to get together one meet?

I am back from the wedding and I had time to think about our event today. Truthfully, I thought it was going to be a total wash (no pun intended) because of the weather. I concluded today as I sat in a chair under a canopy at noon (it was just my cousin and I). I thought to myself, only the hard core will come to the event. Those who are committed to make it work and after 45 minutes, the cars came in. The sun also joined the event although briefly (about an hour or more), but it did not rain.
I commend and really appreciate those who came out in this weather to represent. Yes, it was a little cold and cloudy, but we stood our ground and showed that we can make this work, no matter what. I have to say I am very proud of every member in our crew. You stepped up and made this work. Without members who are committed, we would not have a club.
Special thanks to…
Lance, although his Rx2 and Rx3 were down. Lance stepped up and brought the grill and extra canopy. In the middle of the event, he also went and got more stuff…
Louis for letting Lance borrow his pickup to get the grill and canopy.
I like to thank and give my condolences to Gus for the loss of his mom. He did not have to come, but he came with his Rx2. Thanks Gus and we are sorry for your loss…
Old School Toyota Club of Bridgeport for coming and representing much appreciated…
Non-members who came to watch and hang out with us...
I would also like to thank all the wives and girlfriends who put up with our love for cars. Today you came with the kids and made this a family event. Yes, we know you suffered in the cold and I am sure your husbands and boyfriends appreciate it. I sure did…
Please forgive me if I forgot anyone else…you know I appreciate your efforts. I just cannot remember everything (old age). All I can say that everyone did their part and as a result it was a success.
Ok enough with the talk here are some more pictures…
