Vert for sale in my Hood, How much is it worth???
Well Ray (mechanic) called me today to help check out a vert for sale a few blocks from my house for his boy. So the guys is asking for $1000.
He says the rear rotor is blown but when we were cranking it it sounded pretty good. I think its just flooded. The guy thinks he knows so much about the car but i think hes just trying to start smart.
So i started to pick on the engine saying it will cost mad Money to fix, and the rust spot behind the seat that all vert has (thanks ANIL for the headz up, i used ure line), and began ripping it up.
I told the guy that the car is worth $600 due to the all the work that will be needed to fix the car. So he said he has other "buyers". ANd if they dont go thru hes gonna call Rays boy to sell him the car!.

How much is a vert worth
Man that POS is worth nothing more than $500 and thats even too much
that **** needs extensive rust repair.. and the top is shot which is $1,000 right there...
a S5 engine is $800 right there...
Thats already $1,800 on top of what your paying for the car... then the body work which is gonna suck *** as those rust spots behind the doors are a bitch to fix properly..
as usual the top is going to leak and the seals are going to need to get replaced which is costly...
He needs to get a reality check.. either keep that **** in the garage he has it in and keep hoping he can make a sale or come down to what the car is worth....
he has to understand that it's a rotary not a little nissan sentra... that car is gonna need work to get it back to working and good looking spec..
I should know, my vert was in shitty condition when i bought it... i know the pro's and cons now... took me 1 year to get my vert to "Okay" condition... still have alot of extensive work to do...
u guys shoulda called my ***, i woulda brought mine and show him what a real vert looks like....
