yea i know ********...i just cant do it...i cant sell the ol' FC
i would never forgive myself...after all the work i did to it, i wouldnt trust anyone would take good enough care of it....
benny, when ever you finally finish your car you might understand....its a differnt feeling you get when you know you did your own work, and YOU made the car the way it is, YOU fixed it
or you might not..but its the way i am......maybe it makes me stupid.....
oh and andrew...after reading the 23 pages on HC's thread about suspension...i now have a legitimate reason for getting an FD other then it being my dream car...

all the work you done to it? you really comparing all the work you did to your car to all the work i did to my car? how is that remotely similar? i basically took apart everything and in the process of putting it all back together......... in no way is that comparable to doing a few mods and maintenance.

im still trying to diag whats wrong with my car...not sure if its serious or not...
at around redline after i shift i blow out some blue and white smoke....intermitent.....and it smells more like carbon....which is odd but whatever
its either:
A: bad gas
B:this fuel additive working
C:the fuel additive doing something stupid
D:bad gas
E: bad 2 stroke/over abundace of 2 stroke at botom of tank that im finally sucking up
F:another clogged oil line(this has happened before)
G:a sensor took a dump and im running rich
H: my injectors arent able to keep up after 23 years and are dumping
I:oil control rings going bad
so now i have to figure out what it is...im really hoping its not G/H/or I all 3 of those suck major ***
we will see....matt..if you read this pm me i need to find out more info on your issue to see if its the same or not

you car has been smoking like that forever... it's just showing it's age a bit. I would not be too worried.
The NA FC runs SUPER rich with the factory tune.

honestly benny, first off you didnt finish...amd who knows if you actually will....second i really can compare to what you did...i put together legos...its not like you did it because there was something wrong with your car...even if you do get it back together if something happens to the car its not like your experiences can help you diag whats wrong with it
because even after all that you still wont be able to find a vaccum leak, or test your sensors if one takes a dump on you....you just know how to take **** apart and (maybe) put it back together....anyone with basic tools and mild mechanical knowledge can do that
i could do it to mine but i dont care because my car still works, with very minimal rust and i dont want to paint anything...so whats the point? my car isnt a show car its a DD...it would be a waist of time and money and when i would finish i would just end up having very shinny 23 year old ****...that i would still only be able to sell for max 5k(not in condition its in now)
