Theres been talk about making another meet but held on a weekend, which more people would attend.

I really think we should entertain that idea, at least ONE time, like on a sunday, i can bet anything we'll get a great turnout.

Whats up guys .... I just upgraded my turbo and I need someone to tune my car... any good tuners close by.. Im using a haltech E6k

IRP in Metuchen, NJ, or KDR in Allentown, PA take your pic ...

KDR is better but farther

IRP is good but expensive, and I get weird vibes from them

I think IRP is great but they are really super busy. I've spent tons of money and time there. No one touches my car but them. They are pricier but they do the extra work the other shops choose to ignore to make everything pristine (not saying KDR or JPR don't do this, we all know about the "shops" I'm talking about). They don't tune, they just find people to tune. I know they have a PFC guy but don't know about haltech. Everyone here knows that I will always be pimping them and is probably sick of hearing about it haaaa. Make sure you call before you come in. I think they generally work later hours now (1pm and up). Honestly, I've heard good and bad things about all the shops mentioned but I don't think you can go wrong with either of them. I haven't heard as much about JPR but Jim definitely has his fans and I did meet Jim. He is an awesome dude. If I did go to JPR, I'd definitely push to have only Jim work on the car. The impression I get from him is that he generally works on very modded FDs typically. When I asked him for driving impressions of my FD he couldn't tell me much because he hadn't driven a stockish FD in a while.

If you can't find anyone in Jersey, Have you looked into NY for tuners? If IRP's guy can't tune my car I'll probably go with enzo...

ahhh no excuse.... we dont car whos fast or not... Its all about hanging out and B.S.ing.... we love all cars it doesnt even have to be rotary... Plus tuesday night we just hang out and eat.. We keep the runs for the weekend.

well put... everyone has there good and bad experience.... and will choose different shops depending on there personal reasons... Price, Location, Shop owner.... The only shops I would deal with are the ones mentioned above. JPR, KDR, IRP, and enzo... They all have there fare share of respectable clients

Its close to being done. Problem is that I have the last parts my car needs at home, Rich is busy prepping his car and Ihor has a huge backlog of cars. I expect the car to be done soon after deals hahaha. I'm actually going to try driving on tuesday so maybe I can make it this week!

Does the shifter console come with the shifter ring? (the under piece that the shift boot gets stapled to etc).

And do you have it with the shift boot??

Finally dropped my turbo II off for the turbo swap. Hopefully everything should be ready to tune in a month. Anyone know a good place for microtech tuning?

I talked with a guy in newark that does microtech, he is running it on his 3 rotor. I am going to use him when mine is finished

The name of the shop is Rated R tunning he mostly does Honda. Anibal the guy with the 3 rotor doesn't tune his car Abraham did it for him. They are good people.
