Wow, I honestly cant believe you tried to take a huge stab at me like that, especially when half of what you wrote is FALSE.
No show for the md bbq? Do i honestly need to tell you why i didnt show up to that one?
No show for the PA dyno meet? Same answer as above.
No show for palisades meet? I didnt even know there was one. I havent been to that mall in ages.
No show for mazda wayne meet? Wasnt it raining that day? Its clear for most FD owners. Rain = FD stays home
No show for rotorjam? Ok, this is one i will give you. Because it was held on sunday and it was a gorgeous day (hot though) but a good day. Why i didnt go, i cant remember. I guess being lazy.
I was attending meets while you were in grammar school.
I AM THAT guy who buys sports cars WITH THE INTENTION of taking it out selectively. Why would i drive the car everyday when i never wanted to do that before i bought it? People have different ways of using their cars. I have another car for the daily grind, because i can do that. ITs much more convenient to get in a car, put it to drive and go. Not worrying about shifting, overheating, overboost, heatsoak, racing people etc etc. The car is pampered enough to never see rain, snow, sleet or even cloudy days. That shouldnt be of concern to you.
As for work, please dont go there. I wake up 430 every morning and get home at random time. Almost like a doctor without that exact pay. I bust my *** to pay the mortgage, live comfortably, buy stuff and take my girls out. If i still lived with mommy, i would be at every damn meet north jersey had to offer. But since i have 2 cars, a house, a GF and some needy family members who are in debt, i have to keep working to provide. Because I AM that guy who is generous enough to do such a thing.
So SORRRRY i dont have time to stand outside from 8-1 on a given day just to satisfy you people and to prove that im not one of those "typical" FD owners.

I have never taken stabs at anyone at the meet. I may have "complained" about the meet itself but never about anyone. I dont have a problem with anyone, never had. But i see its not the same from your side. Thats fine.
I was joking about girls at the meets. I dont care if theres 500 guys over the age of 60 there. It all relates to my personal life, when i show, is because i can. When i dont, its because i cant. Not because i dont want to.
And nice to know you forget people have internet at work. I forgot that when i post, its only from home lol. Nice theory.

i dont have a problem with you, but when you take stabs at me and my friends about our meets then i do. you dont even know what our meets are about, most of the time you barely socialize with the rest of the group.......

I havent taken any stabs at any of you. Why do you keep saying that? Show me where i said it because i dont remember doing it. Like i said i dont have any problem with any of you guys. You guys are the coolest group i have met. And i been to alot of meets in the past and this one is my favorite. But slowly its turning for the worse, all from the wrong aspect.
All i said was that i rather spend my time doing something else than standing outside in cold weather. How is that taking stabs at you guys? Who wants to stand outside in cold weather for 1, 2, 3 + hours at night? I dont.
Seems like you guys are very defensive about the meet, and i dont know why im the bad guy here. Because i cant make it to every single one of them? When i can go, i go. I been there a handful of times. At least i tried to show up.
When i socialize with people, is because i get into the conversation, and it lasts to about the time i have to leave. There are way to many different convos happening. I cant just butt in with you guys when you're talking because i have no idea what you were talking about. So i stay with my group, that i/we originally started the convo from, and just stay there til its time for me to go.

yea i messed it up loading the engine into my trunk, turned one of my fingers into a storage space for dirt....8 stickes later and the possibility for having to have surgery on monday and it seems like im folowing the same path that chris went on

If you don't like the meets, don't show. -but don't complain about them or criticize the people that do... It's not for everyone.
