Im going on owning it for 2 years now, and i know the silver one your talking about, its one of only 3 silver ones in NJ... me, rilwan, and my buddy alvin

rilwan was a built single, 6speed, with 110k on the clock, he blew up his clutch at etown and i was looking into buying it, but it had some racing history and i didnt want any part of it. But it was built by chevy aka bradan performance out on LI, one of the primier supra tuners on the east coast.

I let it go and it sold within the week, i liked it, but i like starting fresh

our cars were identical lol

Of course i know alvin, pretty sure hes from jersey city.. he was on my first caravan 3 months after i bought the car... i was 16..he was my first friend in the supra community . havent heard from him in a while because last i heard..which was back in may of 09, he was flying to the phillipines for 2 years of schooling, so i havent really heard much from him

I think its safe to say i know 90% of all current supra owners one way or another in the tri state

Yes filipino alvin is my friend but i also have another friend named alvin who has a supra, he actually has a shop in union, nj.

Alvin is still in PI for nursing and i talk to him occassionally on aim to keep in touch. He seems uninterested in supras as a whole and wants an R32 skyline over there. I dont think he will come back to the states since his father wants to stay there. But i hope he will visit us from time to time.

and thats kinda sad that he wouldnt come back to the states, i always had a good time with him, and like i said he was my first real friend when i got my car

lol yeah coincidentally i met filipino alvin around the same time my other friend alvin got his supra lol.

Alvin is such a nice kid. I was at an inspection station in JC getting a visual inspection and he came rolling by in the supra and said, "nice rx7 bro". Then we exchanged info and hung out and cruised etc since then.

He doesnt like rx7s though, he makes fun of them all the time lol. But he's still a cool kid.

His mother died last year which is why they pursued in staying in the homeland. All he has left is his father so coming to the states without his dad will be kind of pointless. Im sure they'll both come back here sometime, dont know if its for good.

I remember getting that text from him... and thats why he never made meets on sundays...

Yeah, he told me the bad news on AIM and i was like "OMG DUDE SORRY!!".

But it scared me cause he was saying, "lol" and "o well, things happen" and stuff like that so at first i thought he was suicidal.

I also heard he gained alot of weight since the tragedy. Even though he was chubby to begin with. He was a cool dude, it sucks being the only child. He had no one to look up to, except his friend ebe who he adored.

The reason why he bought a supra was because his friend had a supra. Then he was bummed when his friend sold the supra for an M3 lol.

i just hope he has some friends over there =/
