Thinking Of Selling the Vert
Hey Everyone,
Having thoughts of selling the 88 Vert. She's got 136k on the odometer with everything stock except for an aftermarket radio and I recently installed a full Racing Beat Road Race exhaust system. I also just upgraded my oil lines to steel braided from Racing Beat and did a complete tune up, water pump, belts, ignition, fuel filter, Air Filter, etc.... Also just did rotors and brakes on the front end.
Also installed a remote start with power door locks at the S4 verts did not come with power locks.
Everything on the car works. The top has no rips or tears, and is in immaculent condition as far as I am concerned for a 17 year old car.
Seats are fair with ususal wear but nothing excessive.
Car starts up on first crank without any hesitation from both remote start and ignition start. Also idels at a rock solid 900rpm after warm up. Handels really nice on the road and can haul *** when it needs to.
Body has wear and tear here and there with flakes and little rust but nothing major to cause worries. If I still have her in June, she will get all the rust dealt with and a fresh coat of paint.
What do you guys think I will get for her? Just want to get thoughts on what would be offered or what I should ask for. Please bear in mind that I am just thinking of selling and not really selling.
Had some warm weather today and I decided to clean her up and take out some pics, let me know what you think of the pics.
Let me know.
Regards,

From: FL-->NJ/NYC again!
That's a sharp looking vert. If I didnt already have one I would take it off your hands
I agree though, there is no market for these things, mainly b/c they are ridiculously slow. I would need to get at least $5k for mine after the paint job and the motor, and that probably isn't going to happen......

You may not be able to sell it to a tuner. But if it's in as good a shape as it looks, there are plenty of people wanting a nice convertible just to enjoy the weather. Not everyone has to go fast!
$3k - $4k ?
