Im late to this thread, if you all are meeting up, where and when?

 

I do realize in the bible it said God made the earth in 7 days, but also how do we know how long a day was in that period, according the the bible, noah and his sons all lived extremetly long lives. So how do we know how long there time actually was? Many christins beleive the earth is 6k years old. By going through the bible and bascially tracing the lineage of the people and how long they lived. For me thats is very inaccurate. As for setting up evolution. I know that God is all powerful, but evolution is not a mistake by God. You stated that why would God need to take time. Why would God allow a life and death? If God wanted us to be perfect we would all be perfect. There would be no anger, war, lust. It would be pratically heaven on earth. Now I do feel that i need to do more research and read the bible more throughly. But those are my thought and opinions. Thats what adds up and makes sense in my head. Though many might say i shouldnt be trying to rethink things my own way and just have faith that its what the bible says. but at the moment that is not true to myself

 

oh and if some of the sentences dont make any sense. Im altitle sick and out of it, so please feel free to ask me to clarify things

 

well lets put it this way, it was heaven on earth till adam adn eve ate the apple or whatever it was. but anywayz, the bible is TOO big to understand the whole thing in one lifetime, thats why a lot of things are hard to understand or even sometimes just unexplainable, but then again, every word in the bible has a whole meaning to it, maybe a day was longer, or maybe not, maybe people actually did live for like 600 years plus or minus, and i have proof to taht, if u want me to give u the proof just ask, but thats for a whole different post. actually, if u guys really are interested i can recomend a video to watch, this one guy who finds counters to the science of evolution adn what not.

 

ok lets say this, the bible says ON THE FIRST DAY GOD CREATED THIS AND THAT. FIRST DAY. ok... so the bible says first day, second day, if it says day it has to be a day, god is almighty and he can create anythign in one day. and take it all away in one day, as it says he will do in the end, the earth will be destroyed, and he will take the universe and fold it all up, something like that lol. but yeah, if we are using the bible as our source, one day is one day. if u wana talk about this in more deapth then pm me and we can have a good convo, i would love talking bout that, its pretty interesting.

 

God gave us, along with eternal life, by the sacrifice of his son JC, free will. It's up to you to do the right thing according to his rules.
