i am what u might call a "born again" Even though i HATE that term. Ive always beelvied in God and such, but i did loose touch with any type of religion there for sometime. But i then started dating a girl who said she wouldnt date a non-christian... so here i am

hey rofball i would really down with that, only thing is my 7 is a lil sick and i talk to ray in fredrick and he is going to do my engine rebuild, port. tune and a few other things, he was really kool and told me alot.

I go to La Salle University. A school with many christian brothers teaching at it, and i drive an FD.

 

see you guys, i think this thread was needed for those that dont just want to talk about booty and breast, but somethiing with some substance like christ, so when my 7even is ready i would love to take it out and meet up with you guys or have a big cookout in july or something, you guys can bring your family and we can have a good time in the name of the lord JESUS CHRIST. thats just my resistance to detonation LOL thanks gys

I was actualy raised christian but strayed away for a while. Before getting married I realized once again I am a sinner and need to come "back".

 

On a side note, Roan give me a call. I get calls from people claiming to be from your shop fairly often and needed to clarify some things. No big rush, just wanted to verify the people calling saying they are from your shop, but for me to "not tell, and dont ship" to the shop...

 

Im a born christian, but in PA, philly, i dont got my seven yet, but will in a few months, found an awesome deal... actually really awesoem deal, but hye, it would be nice to talk bout God and rx7's with you...

 

well falnfenix if you must Know woman are more than welcome, since i only see men on here i was talking to those that are on here, once again i didnt make or try to change people all i asked was, ARE THERE ANY CHRISTIAN BROTHERS/SISTERS IN CHRIST. i dont get it when someone says something about christ then everybody gets in a up roar, why is christ so threatning, is it becuase you know your doing wrong or the things that your doing are wrong or is it that you know the truth but you dont want to hear it becuase it might get in the way. hmmmm i dont know but all i can say is, i love everybody and in my life i have had things taken from me that most would say the heck with god, and god still loves me even if i dont, so to those that are reading, im not and have never judge anyone, i simply said were there ANY CHRISTIAN BROTHERS/SISTERS IN THE TRI CITY AREA OF WASH DC THAT HAVE AN RX7 thats it nothing more nothing less. so please take your anger out on those that rob, still and kill not JESUS, he has done nothing to you all that dont belive.

Truthfully, I really dont claim to any religion, I do believe in a higher power, I'm just confused to what it is! But I do believe in good karma/aura's, I believe that good deeds should come from the heart(wherever your heart is, is where the deed will take you).

I dont hate christians, I was raised catholic(until my parents gave up on me), I just find no reason to give my money to a place where masses of people congregate 2 times a week to pray. But to each their own!

However I have always wondered, how do devout christians view other religions?

Muslims?
Buddhists?
Hindus?
Jews?

Truthfully, I work all day every day with mostly those strong religious types, I do respect them, and I do respect christians the same. However I dont get knocks on my door from local Sinagogs, or Buddhist temples, or Muslim temples(I dont know the correct term), trying to convert me!

I think alot of peoples resent towards christianity is that they get hassled alot by local christians, for instance I remember my best friend from texas would get beaten up or picked on for not praying to jesus before each HS football game. Some take it to extremes.

My favorite resentment was from Jehova's witness', I got suspended from HS

(My parents would lock me out of the house every day I was suspended)

SO I had a ladder trying to get into a window of the second story of my house, then they approached me(I was 15 at the time), So I got in, and let them in(they were older)!

Then the preaching began, so I turned on a porno in the living room, lit up a cig, and asked them if they wanted a beer! Then I started drinking vodka straight up! Then they kinda edged out of the house! it was awesome!

However I have changed alot since then, I did goto church for a year around that time because I felt somthing in my life needed to change, and it did, for the better, I got my morals back, and now I view myself as a pretty decent human being, I am not an active christian, however I do believe in doing the best you can to be a better person!

IN CONCLUSION! I dont resent you(or jesus), and I thinks its pretty cool that your looking to start this sort of group, I really hope you find more ppl! I'd like to attend also, maybe just to share out views, I'm pretty interested in various religions!

 

Also in addition to that, my tatoo!

My tatoo is of "Mark the Lion" and him embracing the initials of my name!

Mark the Lion is from the book of Kells(ancient irish celtic book, dated before the bible),

Mark the Lion was also a follower of Judas(the man who betrayed god), Reasoning behind it was that Markus'(Mark the Lion), family had been raped and slaughtered like pigs when he was around 20ish or so, he sort of resented the fact that no higher power had stopped this from happening.

Basically the signifigance of the tatoo is that since Mark the Lion had sort of become a crusader in himself,

I believe that since god allows so much of this to happen, I can take it upon myself to stop these things(thus the symbol of a crusader who once worshipped god, took some of gods work into his own hands, and him embracing my initials!)

I thought it was pretty cool, and it means somthing to me, I hope you all can appreciate it as much as I do!

I just got off of a 16 hour work day, so my typing is kinda slloppy and I'm exhausted, so I probably amd just blabbering, but bye anyways!

 

i'm Christian and love Christ with all i have~ i also have a white fd so if your meet is sometime after i graduate, then i would definitely try my best to make it down~ i think it's an awesome idea and look forward to it, keep me posted! =)

hey EIRCA we sure will keep you posted, i think its rare to have an female rx7 owner, and one thats saved so i think that if your done in the summer that would be a good time for use to meet and have a wonderfull time in the lord and share our rx7 experience's im thinkning my 7 should be done before june i pray lol

 

my fd should be back on the road in june as well. i think this is a really great idea

 

The lounge material is the inevitable religious discussion which luckily doesn't seem to have manifested. I have no problem with a religious meet, sounds like its a good idea that alot of people will enjoy.

 

what and when do you think will be a good time to do the cookout and get together, i hope soon or ill have to limp my rx7 up to were we will meet lol
