I dont, that action is just way too hot for me. But there is this dude in a red FD that I hear is always down there. They say he is the fasest around. Just watch out though because he has nitrous hidden in his car. I hear his name is Toretto.

Yeah, when do they race? I live two blocks over... Maybe I should watch. That must be what all the stupid loud revving is at night. There's also a really nice looking parking garage there that looks like it'd be great for drifting.

IMHO the cops should be involved in Street Racing, undercover and all that. Bust all that crap up. Forums are the perfect place to track all that.

Keep your dicks in check and take it to the *&^%ing track.
Oh, and if there is a LEO reading this thread... check out http://www.risr.net for RI area Street Racing.

Well, if there were a track in Rhode Island... And don't post something like "Why not just go to (Some place in MA or CT)?" because Rhode Islanders have this pathological need to never drive more than 10 minutes to get somewhere.
There are people who are born in Warwick, live in Warwick, die and Warwick and NEVER LEAVE WARWICK... Some thing for "the island" or Providence or Cranston, etc.
I hate this state.

Then that's their problem. There are solutions and it means getting out of their little microcosm. If they don't want to do it, and choose to race on the roads, then it become my problem.. because I might be the next guy getting t-boned for someone elses total lack of regard for anyone elses safety but their own.
I lived in Warren for 29 years and know the mentality very well.
And I agree about getting a track more local. There's even enough room at Seekonk Speedway for a 1/8 mile track.

Yeah, a Seekonk Speedway track would be cool. Though I think they should make one at Quonset. Centralized, former air/sea base, so there's only businesses around it, really. And, since it was a base, is already super-paved and flat.
