Damn, people are crazy....does anyone have anything besides a Power FC? Any Haltechs or Microtechs?
TTBullet you can stay at my house, but you might have to sleep on a couch if you don't care. I have to pick up steve tomorrow night from the airport at 10:50 and then drive him home so I won't be home till late. If thats cool with you then whatever. I'll give you a call in a bit, i see you already called. I was kinda busy. Talk to ya later.

Well I'd like to get Legal Z and the dude from MA done first so they're all set for the long haul home, and they will be one of the first to arrive. So in the morning it will be those two. By the time those cars are tuned it will probably lunch break time then we can get down to business and do the rest of the cars. After lunch it's pretty much first come first serve.

haha, yeah right Martin......
I'd also like to thank everyone for coming out to the session. It was a lot of work, but I think it went pretty smoothly.
Hopefully we can organize another tuning session in the spring time.
Johny,
I guess the Car Version guys gave you good directions? Sorry I coudln't get back in time to say bye to everyone.
Steve tuned my car today to 16.5 lbs...he said it feels like 430whp...we'll see when I put it on the dyno. It feels really good. I'm not getting much traction in 1st and 2nd gears. Good stuff

Hey all, sorry for being the annoying dumb kid at the shop but I really appreaciate all the help. I learned so much from all of you guys. Hopefully by spring ill be ready to put some real numbers like the rest of you all. Thanks again to every one that made this happen

no huge numbers to report...my car and martins are making over 400....no dyno charts for either yet though. Martin didn't make it to the dyno his seconardy injector wasn't firing so he left it overnight and fixed the problem the next morning. Then Martin and Steve went out for a little street tuning

you're right you're kidding... first of all, i didnt make it down to delware til like 7pm, cuz my map sensor didnt work, had to rewire the whole thing over. then when i finally got to delaware, since my gas tank didnt work, i filled up.. and low and behold i put in 19.6 gals in the car
then when we started tuning on the streets one injector didnt fire, so thinking of the worse, i went back home, left my car at dan's house (thanks for the hospitality btw dan). picked up a few things (injectors, clips, etc). got to dan's at `10am, and started working, by 2:30pm my car was tuned and i had a huuuugee smile on my face.
oh yeah dan.. pushed the car 1st and 2nd gear today and got 82.5% injector duty.. im over 600hp baby!! j/k

I would also like to thank Dan for setting this tuning session up. That was a first for me and I certainly enjoyed it. It think it went pretty well. We got off to a little bit of a slow start, but it all worked itself out.
Thanks to Steve for being so patient and explaining many things to me. I certainly learned a lot. Thanks to the guys at car version 2 (Jay, James, Rudy) for being so accomodating.
Thanks to Legal Z for the pizza. It certainly hit the spot.
Also enjoyed meeting everyone and hopefully we can do it again in the Spring.

I want to say tanks to Steve, Dan, Jay. Very nice shop. After hard working problems and drive, I got home 12:30 am. I had problems with not firing leading (still pumps 225WHP with 2 trailings) and it was booting too much. I orded wastegat spring and igniter for leading. It's been a great experice with you guys. Anyways, I'm going to try it and let you guys know and how it went. Have great Thanks Giving guys.

I don't think your problem lies on the coil but instead, somewhere in the wiring from the PFC to the ignitor to the coil. I wish i had more time to troubleshoot your car but I wanted to make sure I finish up with the rest of the guys too.

His car was the first on the dyno and was on it for almost 3 hrs. The first pull we made, it went all the way to 35psi. I was lucky to catch that before anything happened. after that, the car just wouldn't make any power 220-240ish rwhp. We changed the plugs, redid a few things and just thought maybe it was the dyno that was giving us wrong info. We then took it for a spin on the street to confirm with the dyno result. I concluded from riding the car that it has something to do with the leading ignition not firing. We then took the car back to the shop and did a few test to find that the leading coil wasn't firing. After a few hrs of investigation, we know that it was in the wiring and not the coil. That was it that I could do. What I did was to hook up the trailing to the leading plugs to prevent the engine from blowing up. it's about 15 degrees more retarded but its better than 50 degrees.
