I am too, I am switching over to microtech and still waiting for it to come in the mail. If my car is ready I am for sure getting it tuned by steve. Shoot me a pm if you decide to go down that weekend. I live in syracuse, and i believe it is right on the way since you live in buffalo. We can cruise down together.

You can try calling him at gotham racing, he may be able to send you a base map. You might want to try the haltec forum also..

My mods: 1994 R2, body kit, CF vented hood, CF rear spoiler (for downforce), custom front undertray and RE rear diffuser, 245/35/18s front, 285/30/18s rear, on SSR GT3s, brembo x-drilled/slotted rotors, stock R2 suspension, PFS SMIC, fabbed hardpipe + greddy elbow, M2 intake & hardpipes, Pettit DP & MP, HKS CF Ti Exhaust, ACT HD S/S Clutch, PFS lightened flywheel, B&M Shortshifter (for mAdD fAsT sHiFtS yO! lol), PFC w/ aggressive PFS/Don'tBeARikki 13 psi WOT tune on stock twins, stock engine (87K), HKS Twin Power Ignition & Efini Y-pipe, Greddy pulley, stock fuel system (injectors & pump), TB coolant bypass lol...umm I think that's about it.

Hey Dan, I wanna put in a Supra fuel pump before tuning her, as I'm already seeing duty cycles in the 90s lol (hey, the engine's on it's way out anyways...) Think we can do it real quick if I come over a bit early? Looks like it's very straightforward... https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-gen-archives-73/fuel-pump-swap-106079/ I won't get a chance to do it beforehand because of my exam...

Yea I'm sure it won't take long, but 1) It looks like I'll be taking my exam on the 8th, so I won't get a chance to do nada before then...and 2) I gotta move audio equipment around, so it'll prob take a solid 30 min in my case. Dan's a great guy (really) and is always up for offering to help me out w/ FD stuff, so if he's free early on on the 9th, I'm gonna grab the opportunity.

I'm curious why you would haul your car all the way to Deleware for a tune Rami? I saw your car at Rays shop not even a month ago I thought. Why did you not get it tuned then or get it tuned there now for that matter?
Just wondering why no support for our MD/VA/DC local Ray Wilson's PFS?

No offence to Steve of coarse.

Dave, I think you answered yourself here:
I saw your car at Rays shop not even a month ago I thought. Why did you not get it tuned then or get it tuned there now for that matter?
I really like Ray...he's a great guy, very nice and polite, an excellent mechanic, knows his way around the FD like no other. I think my high opinion of him is obvious from all the positive recommendations I've made re: Ray @ PFS on this forum. So it has nothing to do w/ Ray per say. And yes, my car was there, but a) he didn't have the dyno at that time, and b) I didn't plan on wasting money tuning an engine that's on it's way out. I'm holding like 9 psi vaccum at idle. The engine is tired. But things changed afterward when I was given the opportunity to race some bikes That's really the only reason why I wanna up the boost. Might as well get every bit I can outta a motor that's already on it's way out...

I'm curious why you would haul your car all the way to Deleware for a tune Rami?
I really woulda preferred that you PM me such questions, instead of having me spill my business all over the forum But if you must know, my car's sponsored by Gotham (the stickers aren't for fun lol), so naturally, Steve's my main man. It just so happens that Steve never comes out to this area because we do indeed have Ray and Dee. But he decided to come this time, so it's a great opportunity. Plus, Steve and I have some things we need to discuss, so this would be a great chance to do so. Also, Rotorfest's the next day, and I'm goin up w/ Dan anyways, so I'll already be up that way. Hopefully that clarified things for you a bit?

Hey Ramy, I don't see any problem installing your fuel pump on the 9th. It really shouldn't take too long once we get our stero equipment out of the way . The fuel lines are a pain to get off but thats pretty much it. My garage should be opened so you can just pull that baby in, or the Car V2 guys will let me use their shop. If you don't mind sleeping in a sleeping bag, you can stay at my house on Saturday instead of making all of those trips back and forth.

I really don't see why you would care who knows your car was at Rays. But if you would rather be all "hush hush" then ok I'll play along.

I would think one of the main requirements or reasons for having a sponsor, especially by a company called "Gotham RACING" would be to actually participate in RACING. Correct me if I am wrong but the way I understood it you were primarily into car shows. Whats the point of the sponsorship? You aren't exactly breakin parts at the track, and from what I can tell your car already has about everybolt on aside from a turbo which I would assume would be the next step. Again though, unless your racing I don't see the need. Especially since the cops are running rampid in your home state handing out speeding tickets and all.
Also I wonder how you manage to find the time for those car shows with the busy school schedule and all. At least thats what you say, that you don't have any free time when invited to the track.

Ball busting aside. I can see that you just want to hook up with Steve and there is nothing wrong with that. Plus rotorfest is that weekend and all. But really quit with the frontin' and come race that thing already. Don't be scared. I'll put my PFS ride against your Gotham ride.

No no...you misunderstood. My "putting my business out there" I was talking about Gotham. I just don't flaunting the fact, that's all - esp. since my car's not finished. Why would I have a prob saying my car was at Ray's??? In fact, I think I POSTED my car was at Ray's...

Dave...one word: PATIENCE. That's really all I'm gonna say. My car isn't finished. And no, it's not just for show. But in case you didn't notice, if your car is ugly or looks bone stock, it won't attract lots of attention, even if it's runing 9's @ the track. Form and function go hand in hand.

Also I wonder how you manage to find the time for those car shows with the busy school schedule and all. At least thats what you say, that you don't have any free time when invited to the track.
Right now, I don't. I haven't been to a show in over a year IIRC.

I truly would LOVE to come roll w/ you to the track. But ask any of my close friends if they've SEEN me much this year...literally. This year is THE make-or-break-it year, as I have told you before. I'm planning on taking that CRUCIAL board exam right before Rotorfest, so I'll have the rest of the summer off. After this year, things are still intense, but they're nowhere nearly as bad, so I'll be able to make the time for various shows and track events. It's just taking forever to get the ball rolling cuz there are a lot of little things that are going into making this happen.

Dave, I'm not scared. TRUST ME, I'll call you up MYSELF when my car's done and be like "lets go."

I think now you see what I mean about putting my business all out there?

LOL, Rami's a good sport. I just want to get more people involved in racing down at MIR is all. When I was going last summer I was the only rotary there and you can see why I would like some friendly competition. Besides I like giving him a hard time.

You could have a **** brown festiva with rust and primer at the track. If you go 9 seconds. You will defintely get attention. You can believe that Jack. I can count on three fingers the guys I personally know that been 9's. Your first trip to the track you will be lucky to break 13 no matter what you got in your engine bay. It's a skill to drag race.

Dave, hopefully when I get my car finished, whether you're faster or not, I'd still love to hit up MIR and start representin the rotaries down there. That'll be great

No need to get literal on me lol. Yea 9s is pretty damn fast. But I meant ppl still want something representable. There's a reason why they don't leave the drag cars w/ just primer or the factory metal color Oh and thanks for the confidence...I personally think I'll run a 15 sec 1/4 LOL I give respect...launching in itself is a very difficult skill, ESP in the FD.
