I'm waiting on confirmation on the Anheuser location yet.
I'm thinking I should know Monday or Tuesday. The problem
was the Anheuser picnic grounds don't open up until May 1st.
And We are asking for April 11th. So I had to get special permission
to do so. If we can't have it there now. I'm thinking we will have
this one somewhere else and then have another later in the year
at the Anheuser picnic grounds. We should know soon though.

Ok. I was given permission to use the Anheuser-Busch Picnic grounds.
Date: April 11, 2009
Time: 11:00am to 2:30pm (let me know what you think about these times. I have the park until 6pm?)
Address: Anheuser Busch Picnic Grounds
700 Schrock Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229
The entrance for the picnic grounds is before the first
traffic light for the brewery. I'll try to put up either a
sign or some balloons.
This is a meet and greet to get the 2009 season started.
Bring your own food. They have grills there. Just need some
charcoal to use them. They have functioning bathrooms.
If possible, maybe we can have a cruise afterwards.
The Rules Below were given to me for us to follow. Please Read Them!
Any Questions please ask. If we follow the rules we should be able to do
this often!
Rules
Anyone Breaking The Rules Will Be asked To Leave
1. No pets
2. We are responsible for cleaning up. I'll have some trash bags there.
Just make sure you use them please.
3. Any damage to the park that you may cause, you will be responsible for
the repair! (Since we are still in the spring and the ground is usually
wet. We were asked not to park on the grass. So Please Don't. There is
Plenty of Parking There Though
4. Any abusive language or improper conduct by anyone the entire group
could be asked to leave. (so please just use common sense. If we don't
screw this chance up. We could probably use these grounds often for meets!)
5. Loud music or speak systems are prohibited
6. No fireworks, firearms or archery equipment are to be used in the park
at anytime!
7. No alcoholic beverage can be consumed by anyone under the age of
twenty-one (21). Intoxication by any member of the group will be
grounds for the entire group being asked to leave the property.
(since this is our first time doing this, and its a car event. I ask that
there is no alcoholic beverage on the grounds)
8. Anheuser-Busch (or I) accepts no responsibility for personal injury,
property damage or loss, while on the grounds.
9. Anheuser-Busch reserves the right to cancel the use of the facility
without prior notice.
Thanks
~Luke

Yes, 7 more days. I'm going to try to get a few things for us to do.
They have a softball field. So Maybe we can use that. I'll find out.
Maybe corn hole, a football, a Frisbee ? Just thinking of some
things to do then just standing around staring at each other.
Those that are going to the Deals Gap trip the next weekend. Come
on down. We can talk about our caravan. I already have a group
that is leaving early Friday morning from Columbus. So we can meet
up with Phil and his group by the early afternoon.

I know that everyone is deeply saddened by the loss of our respected admin Mark, but I think he would be very pleased to see the All-Ohio meet be in his memory, along with a cruise on 270 to give him a rotary-powered sendoff.

I was asked to make this in memory for Icemark. And maybe a slide show.
Anyone have any info. I don't know who he was? I've heard of the name
but never knew him?
Any info will help.
Thanks,
~Luke
