Speaking of car on the road. I buttoned up the front side of my engine today. Waiting on part number from PFS to order a new turbine housing. I'm ordering new fuel lines tomorrow. I didn't want to do braided lines again this time. So I am going with push-loc fittings and lines from Jegs. Inching a little closer everyday now.

310? I won't be racing you anytime soon. My old engine would rev to 8k easily, but it only had one good rotor. I've never taken this one past 7. I should be able to do Hooters Sunday.

I agree with 310 horses being some good ****. I also agree on getting my exhaust installed ASAP.
I am also going to have to replace my starter while I'm at it. It decided to die. It seems as though power is getting through to the starter. I can hear the solenoids opening when I try to crank. I could only get the starter to engage for less than a second. I tried jumping it and it is a new battery. 2 weeks.
Do you all agree with my logic? I have a haynes manual and will tackle this project tommorrow with a starter from one of the local auto shops. (If they have one.)

I got my car started. Turns out that when I fixed my battery ground I messed up the starter ground.
I found this out after I removed, tested, and reinstalled the starter. I did it all in less than 2 hours though. I beat the sun! 3:50-5:50

I went by a local shop today to get a quote to install my Corksport full exhaust ( header back ) The shop owner told me that the exhaust manifold studs WOULD snap and quoted me 4 hours at $80 an hour ($320 for those that don't want to do the math). Not a good first impression for Maryland mechanics.
I will attempt the exhaust install tommorrow in twin7r1's garage. Wish me luck!
