Hey SoMD cats! I'm down in sunny Fort Lauderdale for the holidays, hope you all are havin a good time. Justin, you leavin town??? I won't get back till after the New Year, so good luck in IL. Come visit sometime.
Hey Dave, you get your motor back yet? We gotta hook up when I get back. Tracey is puttin on the pressure to sell the 7 for the new baby. Looks like there is no single turbo in the near future, think I'll have to just blow it at the track and then sell it!

Good luck to all you Southern MD cats, and I will see you all in May or June. No worries, I will still be checking in on this part of the forum, and especially this thread.

Well anyway, should be in St. Louis tomorrow, then I am off to find me two jobs, yep that's right, two jobs!

And as soon as I have that and my battery relocation done i should be on the road again.
I havent sold the other yet because im not sure how my temps are going to react and if it gets too hot ill just put the smic back in.
And yes this weekend ill be in clemson picking up the remainder of my things so the weekend after I would be available for a meet

I'd be scared of any intercooler that cost only $250. I paid $1100 for mine. Good luck with it. The install is a real pain in the neck.

Also, i have been speaking with a rep from Autobahn88 for about 3 months now trying to make sure that i was getting a quality part. So We'll see but im pretty sure the kit is going to be extremly similar to the 900 dollar Greddy unit.

I hope that works out for you. It's been my experience that any time I try to save some cahs on parts it ends up biting me in the ***. Which is why I now just shell top dollar in the first place. I guess I am just gun shy about it.
The install is a bitch. First off you have to remove and trim the bumper. Then the raditor has to be relocated and you have to use thier brackets. (This is where the extra cash comes into play; I hope the brackets they supply work. ) Then you have to relocate the power steering lines. You might have to cut and extend the raditaor fan electrical lines. Mine were rally tight and pulling hard to fit so I cut and re-soildered in an extra 12" of wire .You may or may not want to do that. It's going to be a stretch for them to fit if you don't but it might make it. You will have to cut or remove the bumper reinforcement bar. I had to trim some of the frame for the turbo side charge pipe to clear around the radiator...
I can keep going but you will find out for yourself. It's far from a drop in install. I think it took me a whole weekend to do it and I am pretty handy with the tools etc.
Just plan to get knee deep is my only advice.
