IMO: don't buy a home now.. If you can..
wait a couple of years. and wait for the real estate bubble to bust.
And all these fools in 700k++ homes on Interest only loans and other
predatory loans like certain ARMS.. You will find very very very motivated
sellers/foreclosure flooding the market... Soon.

maybe im just ranting, because im bitter.
being on a 30fixed note, and my mortgage payments
has gone up every year for the last 4years, because
of fvking property tax and insurance. thats not even
including the four 1/4 points increases in Fed rate since.
Cant imagine the pinch the Interest only and Arm people
are feeling..

Sean (right?) you're right. Right now is the best time to sell, but the worst time to buy lol. The bubble is gonna shrink a bit for sure very soon. I don't think it'll straight up burst...but the market will def drop a bit. Prices now are simple unfreakinbelievable.

I don't plan on buying anything right now, it all depends on how much I can make. I was thinking about buying and living in a sail boat. But then I would have to buy a new one every time a hurricane decided to run up the coast. I could buy a used one for 10-20k and still be below the cost of a house even if 10 of them go to the bottom of the ocean.

See ya soon and wish me luck.

Welcome to VA! Our corp headquarters is in Vienna, on Gallows Rd, so I drive up there every few months. I like working in NoVa, but I wouldn't want to live there, again.
