Sandblasting?

I need an axle and two struts sandblasted in Virginia. I can drive it out to Maryland or D.C.

Any suggestions?

They're really rusty, once I get all the rust off the housings, I'll prime and paint em (Or powdercoat em. Pending funds.) Then the struts will have new shock cartridges put in em and the rear axle will be rebuilt...

There are two places in Maryland. One is in Annapolis and i think the other is down in St. Marys somewhere. They are both listed in the yellow pages.

I have two sandblasters and I have never had much luck getting either to work very well. One is a vacuum feed and the other is a presurized one.

I have a new blast cabinet that worked pretty well on the parts I tested it on. I can do it, but I won't be around until next weekend though. Gotta work 12 hour shifts this weekend to cover for someone.

Can you fit a whole rear axle in it? (FB, solid rear axle)

Negative. It's only about a 30" wide cabinet.
