Also, I'll be showing up in my White 1985 GSL (Yeah, my 1983 GSL with the targa band should be there with your targa banded 7 as well, but as luck would have it the car isn't going to be ready for a while) with a 12a. Perhaps it will even be streetported by then with a new carb, but for now its stock other than exhaust.

We don't have to have track time. Most people don't even track thier car anyways.
I remeber going to the Norwalk import event years back an seeing a row of 3rd gens parked. they did not want to run.
