RX-7 Engine Fire in Haverhill, Ma.?

i found this on NASIOC and i was wondering whose it is. Someone snapped a shot of it with their camera phone.

It is a Vintage Red FD with a Veilside Body Kit that was spotted smoking/on fire in Haverhill, Ma. Im pretty sure it happened today sometime.

Either way, I'm sorry. Good luck to whoever it is, and i hope it's salvageable.

Fing A! that sucks. i have never seen him and the only VR i know of is your friends Rick. that sucks. but further proof for a fire extinguisher.

PS, engine fire = black smoke. that looks more like overheat. which sucks all the same.

im pretty sure i know the guy, but im not 100% sure, and i wanted to know what happened. it does make sense with the white smoke, but why would there be fire fighters for an overheating engine?

i dont know. that was a great reminder to bring dave and shauns fire extinguisher to the race tomorrow.

you get white-ish grey smoke when you pour water onto a fire. the fender seems pretty burnt up.

WTF I'm from Haverhill!

When I saw the title I thought it was a montego blue 7 that I've seen around lately but I never seen this car around before. I hope everything is ok with his car. That sucks..

wow 15 flames maybe he moded the location of the fuel lines and something went loose...white smoke could also mean coolant seals went and entered the cumbustion
